THE CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH AND THE MCDOUGLE FAMILY FOUNDATION PRESENT “DEERFIELD BEACH SPORTS FIELD DAY” THIS SATURDAY, JUNE 17th
Join Retired NFL Players Stockar and Jerome McDougle and The McDougle Family Foundation for the “Deerfield Beach Sports Day” this Saturday, June 17th at Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex (445 S.W. 2nd Street, Deerfield Beach). All kids ages 5 to 14 years old are invited to attend the Deerfield Beach Bison Registration and Kickoff Event. Registration begins at 8 AM, with fun filled activities including Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, Baseball and many more beginning at 9 AM. Free hot dogs and pops will also be served to those participating. This event is free and open to the community.
The Deerfield Beach Bison Youth Sports Program is a youth sports program presented by the City of Deerfield Beach and The McDougle Family Foundation. The McDougle Family Foundation mission is to build a team of role models and mentors that will bring stability to today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders by tutoring, mentoring and encouraging our youth to stay focused on their health, social skills and academics, while exposing them to appropriate career paths, higher education and healthy lifestyles. The McDougle Family Foundation started from the vision of two bothers who are retired NFL Players Stockar and Jerome McDougle both played at rival high schools one Deerfield Beach High and the other Ely High.
